What is floating?

Floating is about what you won’t be doing. You won’t be bound by gravity. The 1100 lbs. of Epsom salt solution creates a super buoyant environment that allows you to lie on your back in relaxation. The solution is maintained at approximately 95 degrees, which is a skin receptor neutral temperature, that helps you dismiss where the water starts and your body ends. Without the stimulation of gravity and the distractions from your everyday environment, your body has extra resources at its disposal. Your mind is able to explore anything without distractions while your brain releases natural dopamine and endorphins your body gets to rest. Salt7even float center is owned and operated by Shaun Tidwell. It is Bakersfield’s original float center, founded in 2015.
